WP2 State of the art, training, demonstration and mobility activities: agronomical aspects
State of the art, training, demonstration and mobility activities: agronomical aspects (varieties, use of water, pests, reduction of chemical pesticides and use of organic and ecofriendly fertilizers), SWOT analysis (study on varieties and their processing availability and performances, scarcity of water, pests, reduction of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, bio versus traditional, introduction of green fertilizers and pesticides) in the participating countries. The main resources to be used to achive the objectives will be:
- Desk research: Internet, magazines, bibliography, doctoral thesis.
- Questionnaires research: farmers, SMEs and food companies.
- Experts Research: Experts Committee integrated by technicians, policy makers, researchers.
- SWOT analysis and joint action plan.
- Global GAP (Agriculture: fertilizers, pesticides, waters).
- Good Manufacturing Practices (Good Manufacturing Practices: drying, MAPs, HACCP, Traceability, etc.).
- Valorization of by-products to extract valuable biomolecules to be used as natural ingredients in substitution of synthetic ones.
